When it is known that one in four people will suffer from psychological disorders at least once in their lifetime, and that this trouble continues to increase, then it's easy to understand the importance of addressing such a subject.
Producing a documentary on the psychological troubles means offering the possibility to discover our society from another aspect, giving the opportunity to see without taboo this diseases, freeing the voices of people with psychiatric disorders and their families. And may be trying to understand rather than judging them.

LES TOILES DU MONDE
From India to United States
For each of us, passion for cinema begins in a room filled with red armchairs where strangers settle down silently. The room is plunged into darkness. The projector beam is turned on. And the magic happens, the story begins. We die, we kill, we fall in love, we make love, we are a woman, a man, a child, an old man, an extraterrestrial. Sitting in front of a cinema screen , in an almost religious silence, we suddenly fall into another world.
Nevertheless, all over the world, cinemas disappear. In Africa, they have become landfill sites. In Russia, movies are censured by political power and film reels are thrown away. In India, the cinema is always glorified, but far from big cities, there is only a satellite to watch films on TV screen. In the US, cinemas are now big similar multiplexes, where people spend most of their time eating pop-corn or drinking sodas.
This documentary has chosen to show us places of resistance.
